A Night in Provence – Summer Supper Club at The Green Dragon
Sip, savor, and be transported to the sun‑drenched South of France. For one night only, The Greedy Table pops up at The Green Dragon, Stoke Fleming, with a Provençal feast built for long, lazy evenings and good company.
Small plates to share: Provence scallops with tomato, olives, capers and herbs; chicken liver parfait with chutney and crusty bread; heritage tomatoes with olive tapenade, courgettes, parmesan and pistou. Sunshine mains: slow‑braised lamb in red wine and rosemary with pesto ratatouille and whipped goat’s cheese; tuna steak Niçoise salad; marinated pork tenderloin with fennel and apple, sauce vierge; confit chicken leg with sauce tomat, olives and Herbes de Provence; braised lentils with ratatouille and whipped goat’s cheese (v); king prawns with braised fennel, lemon zest, white wine and cannellini beans. Proper sides: crispy fries (add chicken skin and rosemary sea salt), dauphinoise potatoes, and Café de Paris summer vegetables.  Sweet finish: French cheese board or French toast pudding with vanilla ice cream and roasted nectarines.

The Greedy Table returns to The Green Dragon this August for an evening of sun-drenched Mediterranean flavour. Join us on Tuesday 11th August as we transport you to the shores of the Aegean, no passport required. Aegean Nights is a one-night-only summer supper club pop-up at The Green Dragon in Stoke Fleming, South Devon, featuring a menu that draws from the bold, generous cooking traditions of the Mediterranean and Middle East.
A Menu Built for Sharing and Savouring
Start with small plates that set the tone: tiger prawns grilled with garlic, chilli and ginger; creamy burrata with agrodolche blueberries and pistachios; or a classic chilled gazpacho with crusty bread and extra virgin olive oil. Light, vibrant, and made to linger over. Mains stretch from a rich lamb shaksuka, a spiced Middle Eastern stew with poached egg, to fillet of salmon with whipped lemon labneh and charred spiced cherry tomatoes, king prawn, chorizo and olive stew, and halloumi and courgette fritters with Greek orzo salad and tzatziki. There’s also a stunning Tuscan rolled pork belly with oregano and lemon potatoes and salsa verde for those who like their Mediterranean going a little further west. Round things off with our sweet treat: an orange, almond and ricotta polenta cake with clotted cream and raspberry compote. Because Devon will always make its presence felt.
