I love nothing more than cooking food for different groups of people to enjoy - serving it with love, kindness and calmness. Naturally the food is the catalyst for enjoyment, so I take pride in making sure it's the foundation for any gathering.

Born to CookSigourney was born and raised in the midst of her family's thriving hotel business in the coastal idyll of Stoke Fleming, Devon. She was never far from the kitchen and developed the very first of her culinary skills while learning on the job. After working as a Commis Chef in a Boutique Hotel in London for a number of years, Sigourney returned to the South Hams to chef in a local restaurant in Dartmouth.
It was only a matter of time though before she took the position she was destined to. The little girl on her tiptoes stirring pots in a busy kitchen became the Head Chef at her family's hotel. She proudly retained this role until the sale of the hotel after an incredible 43 years in the industry. The Greedy Table is rooted in a rich heritage of making people happy through food, prepared with the best local produce, served in a setting that provides one of the most spectacular backdrops, arguably in the world. Sigourney's passion for creating and sharing delicious food is truly entrenched in every part of who she is and where she comes from. |
